Privacy policy

1. What we collect

• Account data — your name, email address, company, and password credentials (stored by our authentication provider, never in plain text).
• Order data — what you ordered, the configuration and acceptance criteria you approved, briefs and files you upload, order status, and messages exchanged about the order.
• Analytics data — basic usage information and campaign parameters (UTM tags) on the link that brought you here, used to understand which channels work.
• Advertising measurement data — when we run ads, Google Analytics and Google Ads set cookies and similar identifiers in your browser so we can tell which ad or search led to a page view, an inquiry, or an order. What we send them about a completed order is the order’s reference number, the service ordered, and the amount — never your name, email address, or anything you wrote in a brief.

2. How we use it

To operate your account, produce and deliver your orders, process payments, provide support, send transactional email about your orders, and understand how people find the Service. We do not use your briefs or deliverables to market to anyone else.

3. Who processes it

We use a small number of service providers to run VerSwift:

• Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
• Stripe — payment processing. Your card details go to Stripe directly; we never see or store them.
• Mailgun — transactional email delivery.
• Google Analytics 4 — website analytics, so we can see how people move through the site.
• Google Ads — advertising measurement. This tells us which ads produce inquiries and orders, and uses advertising cookies to do it.

Each processor receives only what it needs to do its job. The specialists who produce your work see your briefs and order details, under confidentiality obligations.

4. What we do not do

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not rent or trade it. We do not send marketing email you didn’t sign up for. We do not share your account details, briefs, or deliverables with any advertising platform — the only thing Google receives is the measurement data described above.

5. Retention and deletion

We keep account and order data while your account is active and as long as needed for tax, accounting, and dispute-resolution obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal data by emailing us; we will confirm what was deleted and what we must retain, and why.

6. Your choices and rights

You can access and update your account information at any time, and request a copy or deletion of your personal data. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws; we honor reasonable requests regardless of geography.

Several US state privacy laws — California’s among them — give residents the right to opt out of having their data used for targeted advertising. We do not yet have a self-serve control for this on the site. Email stephen@verswift.com and we will action the request. Your browser’s own cookie settings will also block the advertising cookies described in section 1.
